What I Feel About Toke Makinwa's "Controversial Whatsapp Statement'

Media personality Toke Makinwa isn't my favourite Celebrity but i love and admire her relentless spirit, with that being said...Earlier this week Toke posted her weekly vlog where she talked about 'Whatsapp calls in a relationship' ,if you havent watched it Click Here..So well as per normal that statement sent some people to a frenzy mode.Lol.

But i am totally here for that statement and i am agree 100%, I am a guy and i have never and don't even think i could ever call anyone living in Nigeria through whatsapp, like if you don't airtime, don't bother calling, network is terrible enough in Nigeria for me to be doing 'Hello,Hello ,Hello can you hear me and you will hearing it 3minutes after. It is so CHEAP..lets face it whatsapp call doesn't consume much Mb,i heard its like 1mb for 60seconds or thereabout..
Now i understand if you want to call via whatsapp video call, facetime or skype, that is totally understandable even if you are in Nigeria or in the abroad...Both Whatsapp calls and the normal calls arent free so why will you be suffering yourself  waiting for 'Reconnecting;.
Lets face it, Guys/Ladies calls on whatsapp when they are using free wifi because they can't afford to waste their expensive data..Simple!!
Personally i feel,Whatsapp call( Excluding the video call ) is just cheap and plain foolish especially when we are both in Nigeria and it doesn't mean that whoever uses it in a relationship doesnt care or doesn't make an effort.

P.s Those people that uses 'Grandmaster of data' how do you people cope with that silly network? that one is another story

  1. Toke Makinwa is just like most Nigerian ladies. They always feel you are heavily consuming their data when you call them on whatsapp..

    1. Coming from a lady...Lol

    2. Whatsapp doesnt consume Mb sef.

  2. You people that they dont kuku call before....if u like let Toke Makinwa be dictating what platform u should be called on. 😂😂😂

Here is Segun's statement:
Please tell Madam Patricia Bala ,the DG Nigeria film and video censors board to release the Movie half of a yellow sun. She has no reason to hold on to the movie. She has no right to censor the movie only to classify it. She saw it in Canada and even partnered with the producers in Canada during the premiere. What she is doing now is an embarrassment to government and a big insult to our dear industry Nollywood. We are not in a Military regime. She should kindly resign. - Segun Arinze..
